Well it has been an interesting week. I think my husband has IBS and we are adjusting his diet, and it seems to be helping. That means no cola, caffeine, and other diet adjustments. I am already dying for a Pepsi. We got a lot of schooling done this week, which is good because next week we have a playdate, 4H dinner, and a possible field trip to the planetarium. While I love the activities they do take away from regular lessons, but it breaks up the monotony of those lessons. Tomorrow DJ has tests in Math, Science, and Spelling. Plus a writing assignment on his blog. Caitlin will get a day of fun computer games and reading. I get to grade all the papers I have been putting off.

How great that baking cookies is part of the lesson plan. Now I want cookies. Have a great weekend!
Anne, I try to incorporate cooking as a fun way of learning math, following directions, working together as a team, nutrition and just plain fun. Plus you get to eat them.
