Anyone who reads my blog on a regular basis, know that I like to use videos as an addition to our lesson plans. This day is no different. Memorial Day, is next Monday. Do you know why we celebrate Memorial Day? Why did it start, how did it start? Watch the short video below to find out. I am looking for a more complete video, but anyone who searches for info, knows it takes a great amount of time. Also tomorrow, for Social Studies we are studying inventors. I picked Benjamin Franklin to start with. Watch the short video below, to learn about this great American inventor.

I love the way you use videos in your homeschooling. It makes it different and more memorable than just reading from a book.
If they are too long they get bored, if they are too short it will not cover the info. The trick is to find just the right clip for the info you want. The best part is once I have them located, I can use them again,
