Florida's Financial Crisis Worsens

It has been reported that 1 in 10 Floridians, have filed for food stamps. That is almost a 100 percent increase. Unemployment is up to 7 percent, in the state of Florida, national unemployment is 7.2%. The freeze on foreclosures imposed by Charlie Crist, is going to expire, and there will be a flood of new foreclosures. Florida, is only second to California, in the financial crisis. There appears to be no sunny spot, in the Sunshine State. I hope this will turn around soon, it sure does look bleak.

Today was our first day back to school, and this is our lesson plan for today:

Reading: Read chapter 1 of Dolphins at Daybreak
Art: Draw puppies from January. This is actually something my son wants to attempt. He wants to see if he can from the eye draw a calendar picture. He picked a picture of puppies.
Writing: Write about your Christmas break
Music: 30 minutes
PE: 30 minutes
Language Arts: Capitalization, adverbs
Spanish: Food and utensils part 3
Math: Multiplication, division, number names
Ant Wars: 60 min documentary if time permits

I hope everyone is having a splendid Friday.

Financial crisis is a major problem nowadays and many are being affected. Almost all individuals in different sectors suffer from this crisis. We need some advice on how to solve this and what aid we need to take. Of course all must participate, and i think it is just a matter of proper financial management.
