OMG Kind Of Day!

It is an OMG kind of day. OMG, or my gosh, can be something exciting, good, bad or all of any other combinations. So why is today an OMG day? I will tell you why.


1- My husband won the Superbowl for our Fantasy Football league OMG! He has not won the Superbowl since 1992, his very first year doing it OMG! I made it to the playoffs, but like a dummy I benched someone I should have played. Oh well next year.

2- It is almost 2010 OMG!!!!!

3- I will be starting something new for my jewelry blog, and it will entail one piece of jewelry being given away every single month OMG!!! Be sure to watch for it at http://www.melissasjewelryandgems.blogspot.com It will be started January 2nd. I hope it will help drive traffic, sales, and become a great business kind of model.

4- It was only 25 degrees here at my house in the Sunshine State OMG, and yes Anne I am freezing so don't laugh!!!!

5- Did you hear about the coach from Texas Tech that made one of his players stay locked in a closet for 3 hours, after suffering a concussion OMG!!! Maybe it should go under Oh My How Dumb, and Cruel. The boys father was a well known ESPN reporter, duh come on OMG!!!!

Wish Me Luck, I Need It!

Ok so maybe I don't need it, but it wouldn't hurt. I am undefeated so far in my Fantasy Football league. It is week four, and I am hoping to win again. My star running back, is on a bye, so I am keeping my fingers crossed. A little luck thrown my way, would be greatly appreciated. Tomorrow DJ is learning to draw automobiles. The Curse Of The Fourth Quarter Strikes Again

Grr my Buffalo Bills managed to lose a huge win, last night against them dreaded Patriots. I could not believe it. We were winning, we looked so good, it was exciting, only two minutes left, yes, yes, yes! No, No, NOOOOO, it must be a bad dream! Once again they fell asleep at the end of the game, fumbled the ball trying to be a hero, then let them drive down the field, and score. Say it ain't so, please! On a lighter note, at least I won my week one Fantasy Football game. I am becoming an old pro now. Ha, Ha, watch out all you boys, this woman is gonna win this year LOL. If you don't watch football, you should. It will make you laugh, scream, cry, and get really mad all in the same game. If you are a Bengals fan, you know what I am talking about, thank Brandon Stokely. Or better yet, you could be an Eagles fan, and McNabb is HURT AGAIN!. You must be kidding. How does someone as big as him, get hurt every single stinking season. Can you say bye, bye. Good thing they got Vick, too bad he can't play until week four. Football, I Love It! And Patrick Swayze passed away. I must be cursed, LOL. My thoughts, and prayers are with his family during this very sad time. I liked him, and his movies, and the last time I checked him, and his wife were still married all these years. You can not say that about many Hollywood stars. On to something more important, Continents, and plate tectonics. That is subject for Social Studies tomorrow. The cute video is a short song, explaining continents.

Football, 4H, Playgroups, and Puppies

How is that for a title? LOL, it has been a super busy 24 hrs. I didn't even get to do a blog post yesterday, and barely got my drops done. Thank goodness the puppy had me up at 4 AM so I could get a head start. Doesn't she look peaceful, and happy. The pillow, and blanket are my daughter's dolls. They had her sleeping on it the other day.

As for football, Yay it is starting soon. Tonight I have my fantasy football draft. This year my husband used Fleaflicker, and a keeper league. That means we get to keep two players from our roster from the previous year. I kept Peyton Manning, and Michael Turner. I am excited this year, because I already got a good head start. I have only been to the playoffs once, and never been in the Superbowl. My husband is very good at it, and makes the playoffs every year, and has won the Superbowl three times, man he stinks. Yes, I am a Bills fan, and yes I am aware they suck, so you don't have to remind me LOL. Wish me luck, I intend to win this year, I say that every year. I am not the only girl this year, a friend of ours joined too, Yay for girl power.

Yesterday, we went to our playgroup at Ms Kristy's house, thank you Ms Kristy if you read this. The kids had a ball, and it was especially fun because they let their kids ride bikes in the house. My kids were not sure what to think, but it didn't take them long to hop on a bike, and get riding. We are discussing starting 4H as a group. It is over an hour away, one way, but it is only once a month. The thing I really like is that any work they do, can go towards scholarship points. I like that a lot. The first meeting is next Thursday, and if my husband can let me keep the car, we will give it a try.
