In the present economy, most commercial enterprises are contracting
rather than developing as the share trading system files might have the
general population accept. Nonetheless, there are various Baby Boomers
who are in incredible need of first class private mind. They can
likewise manage the cost of this forethought and will pay a premium for
people with the right sort of instruction and ability set. In case
government organization, for example HIPAA does not speak to you, then
you can go into the private advertise provided that you are not
reluctant to move. There are such an expansive number of chances as far
as uncovering an occupation in the field of health that everyone can
doubtlessly find something.
Then again, you should first have the right sort of degree: MPH Online
The health industry is expanding and it will be regardless of any
outside activity within the economy. Obamacare for all intents and
purpose guarantees a need for additional government organization
regarding health. Private practice is additionally in great need of
people who know government administration inside and out. Most
specialists basically don't have sufficient manpower, time or energy to
make the fundamental progressions that the government requires of their
own accord. Their nurses are not trained in the new administrative
requirements; however, they stand to lose a great deal of money if they
are out of compliance.
These are precisely the abilities that an online Master's degree system
will give to its graduate class. Upon graduation, a newly minted
employee can instantly go into a private office and keep it up to code
or move into the administration to help administrate Obamacare without a
problem. Many business minded graduates have even created their own
businesses with a specialty in government administration and Obamacare.
Baby Boomers are likewise in incredible need of people with large
amounts of restorative and authoritative abilities. Provided that you
are willing to move to the patient, most of whom are in big cities,
there will be plenty of good jobs that are available for you.
Despite all this, perhaps the greatest advantage to getting an MPH
online degree is that the cost is much less than most graduate programs
overall. There are less textbooks to buy and less class time to attend,
making it a time effective program as well.

Give Me A Break!
I very rarely ever do two posts in one day, but I just can not stand it. I was just watching a program, where they were discussing whether Jesus would think there should be a public option for health care reform. The guest was a nun, and said basically yes she believed Jesus would think the public option was the correct Christian thing to do. So the host says, oh come on anyone without health care most definitely can get health care by walking into any emergency room in the country. Bull S*** Bull S***
If you have never experienced the indecency of not having health care, then you should have no opinion on the matter period. I would like to know how many of these people who are opposing the health care reform, really just want egg on Obama's face, are just plain cruel, or are completely ignorant. It is awful to have no health insurance, to wonder how you will cover an illness or accident. It is awful to be afraid to let your kids play sports, or climb the monkey bars, because they might break something. Let me tell you what it really means to be uninsured in this country.
1- You go to the ER because you have no insurance, and you know technically they can not refuse you . Technically that may be true but they will make you wait for hours, and hours on end. They call it triage, and it is great, especially if you are the ER, and you hope they just get tired of waiting, and leave. I have personally seen ER's do this to people, who come in for non emergency care. The very first thing they do is ask you for your insurance. If you are uninsured, and can not pay, you will wait forever. If they deem that you do have a job, and can pay, some will request a minimum 250 dollars to just be seen, and that will not include the bill you will get for any treatment they give you. Did you know that the uninsured get charged 2-3 times as much as those who have insurance. It is a nice little racket that goes on. Then if you don't pay they will take you to court, get a judgement against you, ruin your credit, and clean out your bank accounts, and any other assets you may be fortunate to have. That is if you are the working poor, who can not afford insurance. Tell me how can someone who makes 7 dollars an hour afford 400-500 dollars a month for health insurance. I didn't even mention that for profit hospitals can refuse to treat you, unless it is an emergency. They can say if you don't pay, you have to go somewhere else. This is shameful, plain, and simple. So please lets not make the claim that all Americans have access to health care, because it is a flat out lie.
2- So you got to be seen in the ER, if you are uninsured they will do the very bare minimum of testing, if any. They might give you a prescription, and tell you to follow up with your primary care doctor, if you even have one. If you have no money to buy the medicine you will not be able to fill the prescription, to fix the problem you went for in the first place. I guarantee 95% of the time, you will never get a real solution to fix your problem that you visited the ER for. It is a vicious cycle, with no help to anyone at all.
3- So then lets get to the many clinics all over the place. Again the very majority of these are for profit, and the not for profits, are usually under staffed, and care is questionable. I guess it is OK if you are poor, that getting subpar care is better than no care. Again this is the rich trying to keep the poor in their place. That is absolutely what I think. They don't want to go to their pristine doctors, and sit in the same office with those poor people, who can not afford to be here, and I am paying for them. Why don't they just say what they really mean?
The wealthiest country in the world, kind, caring, charitable, giving, religious, yet as a country as a whole we can not even decide that making sure everyone has affordable health care should be a goal to obtain. I think it is shameful, sad, elitist, and even disgraceful.
Are all you Democrats, really gonna let the Republicans throw egg in Obama's face? This is all this is to them, a way to make Obama fail, to retake control. I didn't even vote for Obama, but I agree so much with everyone having affordable, good health insurance.

Some Thoughts, And Art Work
1- About the supposed tax hike on the rich, to pay for it. He very clearly said, it was not really a tax, but a change in the way the very rich make itemized deductions bringing it down to the same as a middle class family. I think that is reasonable, and certainly not as drastic as liberals are making it sound.
2- The comment, I have good health insurance, and so does every Senator, and Representative. Yes, they do, and all us tax payers pay for it. They never get denied treatment, go to only the best doctors, and hospitals, are treated like kings, and queens. Want to know how to pay for it, how about we take that benefit away from them. They are rich, they certainly could afford to pay for their own health insurance. Or they could pay for it out of their own pockets, like they seem to see nothing wrong with Americans doing. How about we turn the table, and show them how it feels. Why should we Americans, pay big taxes for them to have cushy health care benefits, when they don't give a damn if their fellow Americans even get any? I say that is the answer to the problem, how much money do you think that would generate? Call them, ask them if they think they would be willing to give up their health insurance, and go on Medicaid, because you know that is such a great program, or go without health insurance at all, and their kids, and spouses too. Do you think you will get an answer?
OK now onto something I truly love, and that is my children's love of art. They both picked their favorite art work pieces, from this school year. Caitlin, who is 5, picked her Spongebob picture. Her art has progressed so much, from even six months ago. DJ picked his Batman, and flower pictures, because he feels they were the best. The other two items are sharks, that we made with a kit, and painted. As you can see Caitlin's is very colorful, where DJ's is more traditional. It is funny, because when he was five, he let his imagination run wild, as he gets older he chooses more traditional art styles. This coming school year, is the first year, I actually purchased an art book. They learn from videos on youtube, and looking at pictures. Just giving the oppurtunity to do art, gives them the desire to do it.

Glenn Beck Has Some Issues
First of all if you have not heard the clip yet, please listen to it, before you respond. I think Glenn Beck is a true conservative, and a patriot, but he rally is crazy, and has no people skills. I have listened, and or watched several times, and wondered how his eyes don't just explode outside his head. However, the radio show episode yesterday, was really uncalled for. Now granted he has complained incessantly about all the bailouts, and money this country is spending, and the woman that called had never listened to his show before, so accusing him of such was not wise. However she did raise a very valid point, that the wealthy, and well insured refuse to answer. What would you do if you had no health insurance? They will not answer this, because they have no idea what that really means. They keep saying you can get health care, you can go to the ER, the clinic, or whatever. Well no see technically that is not true. If you go to the hospital for care, if you even get seen, because they will do everything in their power, like long wait times, to not see you, you still get a bill. A bill that will cost no less than 250 dollars, and that is if you get no real treatment at all, and a referral to see a primary care doctor, which will cost you no less than 250 dollars, to see maybe a PA, not a doctor, and still get no treatment. It is a vicious cycle, and the real issue behind health care reform. Yes, maybe people don't really want higher taxes, and it will cost a lot of money, but it really is unfair for all US citizens to not have access to GOOD health care. Take the one point he made, where he said other well off citizens, from other countries, were coming here to get treatment rather than getting it in their own country where health care is provided. Think about that, why do you think that is? It is because they have money, and if you have money you get to bypass everyone else, and get the treatment you want. Not necessarily the treatment you need, but want, and want it now. We are a society of impatience, we think we need, and deserve everything right now, this minute. Try affording MS medication, cancer, Aids, or any other number of illnesses where the medication is so absurdly expensive, if you do not have health insurance, you will not get it. You might just as well kiss your ass goodbye, and just die. Is that fair, is that what we want to be known for in this country of the greatest countries. I understand the all conservative pledge, and though I consider myself a conservative, I find some of them cruel, and the idea that you take care of yourself, and only yourself, is one of them. Universal Health Care IS a right, to all US citizens, not just those who can afford it, or are lucky enough to have it through their job. Which by the way, even if you have health insurance, you can easily go broke, before all they care about is making money, not whether you get the care you need, and deserve. Reform is needed, and soon, how they pay for it is another question. Tort reform, plus reform to drug companies, and insurance companies is a must. I am always curious why they scream and holler, but never make the point that all of us that work, or own our own homes, pay for uninsured through the Medicaid program. We ALREADY pay for it. WE ALREADY pay for the uninsured, through a tax on our own health insurance. WE ALREADY PAY FOR IT!!! I would think if everyone had health insurance, there would be no need for Medicaid, or the tax the insured already pay, to cover those who are uninsured.

Say Goodbye To The Pre Existing Condition Clause
If anyone watched the Obama speech yesterday, at the AMA, it was a pretty awesome speech. He really is a good speech giver. He finally laid out what he plans to do, and how, health care reform. There were several things that jumped out at me, in the speech. I will cover them individually, so they can be discussed as such.
He very clearly said that under his reform, Health Insurance companies will no longer be able to refuse coverage, due to pre-existing conditions. Wow it is about time! What sucks more than paying hundreds of dollars per month, for a service, and then being denied that service? These insurance companies spend countless hours, days, and months trying to deny you the coverage you have been paying for. Now with that said, if you have health issues, refuse to follow your doctors plan of care, or choose to live a lifestyle that is reckless, and dangerous, then you should pay more for your insurance, but not be denied care. Most people do not even know they have a pre-existing condition until they are diagnosed. So that is just a load of crap, in itself, and one more way for the insurance companies to boost their profits. I am unsure of when companies started implementing the pre-existing condition rule, because it was not always like that, but it sure started a rapid decline in the health care industry. I know of a lot of people, who not only could afford insurance, but also had insurance, and they dropped it because they were paying for something that they were never getting to get any good use of. No, in case anyone is wondering, I do not care what it does to health insurance companies. They have been screwing the American people for years, and getting away with it. It is about time they pay their dues. Stay tuned for more in the coming days. I will be covering Torts, and lawyers in the next post.

Fun Friday: Fattening Food Makeover
Todays Blogging For Fun Friday topic is food makeover. Since I am all focused on health care, I decided to mix Fun Friday in with it. One of the things I will discuss later is bringing down the costs of health care. Over all health is one way to do that. Eating a diet low in fat, can help. So the assignment is, take you, or your families favorite fattening meal, and make it healthy. So many foods are full of fat, but I picked pizza, because that is by far a favorite here at my house.
Pizza actually is good for you, if you eat just one slice. We have actually stopped ordering out, sorry Pizza Hut but your prices just do not fit our budget anymore, and make our own pizza. That alone will cut your fat content way down. Have you ever noticed when you eat pizza, that you order out, it is covered in grease. Now you can take a paper towel and soak up some of that grease, but we just make our own. When we make our own pizza we use part skim milk mozzarella cheese, no fat is never an option, sorry it tastes like cardboard, then instead of pepperoni which I love, or sausage we use chicken or ground turkey. By the way did you know ground turkey, when cooked, tastes just like sausage meat? It really does, minus all the fat. You can elimate the meat all together, but it does add a good amount of protein so we usually leave it on. Then we add pineapple, red peppers, onions, and garlic. If you are really brave you can buy whole wheat pizza crust, which I love, but my family says it has a different taste.
So that is how we transform an unhealthy, greasy pizza into something healthy, and yummy. Happy Friday, everyone. By the way if you would like to increase your friends to your blog, and get some blog love, join our Blogging For Fun group, by clicking on the green Blogging For Fun box.

Should Health Care Be A Single Payer?
So on to the next part of our health care discussion. Everyone should be able to have access to affordable, good health care. I think that can be safely said. Why anyone could justify otherwise is absurd.
So should it be a single paying source, ie the government? For me the easy answer is yes. Because, if the system is left the way it is, those who can afford the higher priced insurance will always get the better doctors, and better care. Please do not deny this is true. It most certainly is. Doctors can refuse any patient they want, out of the hospital setting, if they do not want to be paid what a particular insurance wants to pay them. So if you do not want a single paying source, and want to keep private insurance, than the only other option I can see is that there is a flat standard fees charged, and paid, for all services, no matter what insurance you have. This will eliminate the doctors refusing certain insurances, and will also cut back the increasing cost of health care over all. Believe me when I say, and if you have ever had medicaid, or been uninsured you know this is true, there are doctors that take the uninsured, and or medicaid and are not so energetic doctors. Sorry, but it is true. Not all of them obviously, but it is a sad state of health care in this country. This is unfair, not only to taxpayers, but to the uninsured or underinsured. If you think people with medicaid get only the best treatment, and all treatment they need, you do not know the truth. I have no problem with private insurance, but it should be fair, and balanced to everyone.
It will be interesting to me, to see what happens with all of this. Obama is determined to have health care for all by October. With no real plan yet put forward, it is kind of a scarey time right now, for everyone involved in health care.
What do you think about keeping private insurance, having a single paying source, or having both in some fashion? How do you think it could, or should work, so it is fair to everyone, both in cost, and coverage?

Local Hospital Shands AGH To Close 2009
A local Gainesville Hospital, Shands AGH, will be closing their doors in November 2009. You can see the video, with explanation here
Shands AGH, is one of 3 Hospitals in the Gainesville area. They very often are the hospital of choice, for the uninsured, or poor people to go. With the closing of this hospital, patients will now have to go to the big Shands at UF, or North Florida Regional, both of which have not been favorable to the uninsured, or poor. Shands AGH, gave the reason of loosing too much money for closing. However, they are opening a brand new Cancer Hospital, right next to Shands UF, and of course they need to staff it. Most of the workers, at Shands AGH, will be transferred to the Cancer Hospital, which is opening November 09, the same time AGH is closing. I do not see how this will be a good thing, for the uninsured, or the poor, to find care. It will be interesting, that is for sure.

McCain and Obama, Where Do They Stand On Healthcare?
Do you have Health Insurance? Are you one of the 47 million Americans, that have no insurance? As a Nurse, health care is something very close to my heart. I have been uninsured for many years, and know the stress and impact that can have on someones life. I know how ridiculously expensive Health Care has become. I have seen gouging, unkind acts, greed, and just plain cruelty in the Health Care Industry. So where do the candidates stand on Health Care? View the videos, and hear what they have to say. They both say health care costs, must come down. However I notice two very distinct differences between the two. McCain gives clear, and concise ways to bring costs down, Obama does not. McCain states that his plan will not raise taxes, nor be added to the already huge deficit. Obamas plan will most definately increase taxes, or as he has stated recently will be added to the already Trillions of dollars deficit. McCain will give, every single family in America, a tax refund, to help cover out of pocket expenses, or to help pay for their health insurance plan. Obama wants to mandate every single Business, both big and small, to offer and help pay for health insurance to their employees. This will only make it more difficult for small businesses to succeed, and prosper. This will cause more job loss, and even send more companies over seas where such requirements are not imposed. View the videos, and then you decide, who you want to be President. Time is running out, and so many people are undecided. Dont listen to the rhetoric and garbage, on the Campaign trails. See and learn where the candidates really stand, then make a knowledgeable decision that is best for you and your family.
