Most places has a Lowes nearby. Even here in rural Florida we have one maybe a half hour away. Lowes offers on Saturdays a free workshop for kids. You do have to register online at the store you wish to attend, the date, and how many children. Then the day of the class the first 50 registered kids that show up at the correct time get the kit for free. You make the project right at Lowes. You do have to print a form to sign and take with you. There is a different project each time, so you can pick the ones you think your kids will like the best. We are going to our first class at the end of this month. If the kids enjoy it we will do it again next month. I can't see us doing every class, that is a bit much, and best to leave it for other kids who may want to get in. Check it out by visiting your nearest Lowes, or go to http://lowesbuildandgrow.com/Home.aspx
