The Respiratory System For Kids

Tomorrow is Health class, and DJ is up to the Respiratory System. This accompanies his reading assignment. He likes these videos because the lady has an interesting accent. He gets a kick out of it. Our About 4H lesson this week is all about the food groups, and eating healthy. Each kid had to try a new vegetable, and make the healthy treats they offered a recipe for. Both tried cherry tomatoes. DJ said they were OK, and Caitlin said too sweet. Then we cut bananas in half, stuck a popsicle stick in the end, dipped them in orange juice and rolled them in crushed peanuts. Then you freeze them and eat later. Caitlin loved them, DJ not so much. I had one and they were very good. You could roll them in anything healthy like granola, or chopped candy if you didn't want the healthy route. You only have three days left to enter the giveaway for membership to free printable games. No one has entered yet, so go here to enter. It is easy.
