Last night was the Season 8 American Idol finale. Each contestant sang three songs, I think Adam clearly won, but Kris has improved so much you never know. Adam's second song was a blues type song, that was amazing. I can not find a clip on it, but if you did not see it, you should. I did not like the song written by Kiara, the judge, much at all.
Last night was a major tragedy, here in our small town. My daughter somehow lost her blanket, that she has had since she was born. She sleeps with it every night, and used to drag it around everywhere. Well it has disappeared, and I mean literally. We searched everywhere, even in cupboards, and dressers, every nook, and cranny. It was a long night of crying, sobbing, and even screaming. Finally we convinced her it was after all just a blanket, she was not convinced until everyone else gave up something too. My husband his pillow, a teddy bear, and my comforter, then she finally fell asleep. Attachment to objects is great, don't you think?

American Idol My Top 10 Review
Tomorrow is test day, so I get to do my American Idol post today. In case you missed it last night was Motown night, with Smoky Robinson as the mentor. My top three picks for this week were:
Adam, Allison, and Matt. Adam, was all cool, and dapper looking his singing was superb too. He is my pick to win, with Allison in second. Speaking of Allison she was smoking hot this week, I loved it. Matt is my third top favorite, this week. He is shy, and somewhat reserved, but he gets better every week. His smoky, sexy voice, isn't bad either. Who did you like this week?
Tomorrow I will post the Pool safety tips, and videos, that we used for health class today. Have a great day, everyone.

American Idol Top 11 Review
Did you watch last night? It was country night, and I think they all did awesome. I am not a fan of Kris, and Lil Rounds continues to struggle. Michael could have been a little more active, and Alexis Grace, was just OK for me. My two picks Allison, and Adam were awesome. Adam sang Ring of Fire by Johnny Cash, and it was creepy, weird, and awesome all at the same time. I think he did a wonderful job with making a rendition for his genre, see the clip below to decide. Allison just never seems to have a bad night, I love her.
It will be interesting to see who goes home, Wednesday night.
Tomorrow is test day, as we have no school Friday. So there are no official lesson plans to post. Have a great Wednesday everyone.

American Idol Review
I can not post the videos because youtube has put a hold on them for some reason. But I can still discuss it. It was obvious to me that Adam, and Allison would go through. They were both amazing. I was very surprised by Kris. I liked him, and he sang very well, but I did not think it was anything drastically amazing. I thought Megan would have been the third contestant to go through this week. She was unique, and has a great voice. She can not dance, and is very awkward looking on the stage, but her voice was great. It was nice to see Brooke White back, and performing her new single. It was a nice song, she is probably one of the nicest contestants there has ever been. This one I can put up, listen to it, it is soft and lovely. I hope she does well, go Brooke.
