My Top Entrecard Droppers

Before I get to my top droppers, I simply must thank Rush Limbaugh for another brilliant statement. As you may, or may not know, Mr Limbaugh was released from a Hawaiian hospital yesterday, after suffering chest pains. He had a press appearance, and let everyone know his heart is fine. Then he said, and I quote " I see nothing wrong with our healthcare system, I didn't get anything special, and got the best care." Are you kidding me Rush? You didn't get anything special? If anyone out there that lives in the real world, really believes that, then you must live on a different planet. First of all I am sure Mr Limbaugh, has one of those cadillac plans they talk about, and even if he only had the most basic of insurance, he certainly could afford to pay for any procedure he felt like having done. Not to mention the best doctors, medicine, and treatments. Try being uninsured, or poor, yes I am sure you probably would get the same treatment Mr Limbugh received, but at what cost to your credit, finances, and your sanity? Mr. Limbaugh obviously has no idea how people who have no insurance, or money, live, and deal with illness. Wow, another wealthy person who has no idea.

Can You Believe It Is September 1st Already?

I can not believe it is September already. We have one more week of summer vacation, then kindergarten, and fourth grade begins. I look forward to another year of sharing tips, and ideas with all of you who may use them. I have started my Christmas shopping, yes it is true. I usually start in August, last year I was delayed though. This year I wasted no time. I find it easier to buy something every paycheck, rather than try to buy everything at once. DJ who is now nine, is not so easy to buy ahead for, but he does give me tidbits here, and there. My husband, and Caitlin, are easier. This year, I want to make the ladies in my family some earrings, as their gifts. Anyway the point of this post was not Christmas, see how I get off track, it was to thank my top Entrecard droppers, for the month of August. Top Entrecard Droppers For July, and A Fun Challenge

Last month I tried something different, and put my top droppers on the side bar, for 7 days. I don't think I liked that method, so I returned to my usual. I must thank all who drop, read, and comment on this blog every day. I truly appreciate you.

Since I have one more month before we start homeschool again, I am torturing you with all kinds of my thoughts, and ideas. I feel for you, I really do. HaHa anyway I came up with a fun challenge. It will be set for Sunday, the second of August. All those who participate will receive 100 Entrecard credits from me. I have a ton of them, since the cashout system is no longer there. So, here is what you have to do. I have been thinking of fun writing prompts for my 9 yr old, for the upcoming school year. I find this one humorous, If you could come back as anyone, or anything who or what would it be, and why? You must pick a who, and a what, to qualify. That is the only rule, so get thinking, and get ready to write.

We went trick or treating last night, and I was surprised, there was maybe 1/4 of the homes passing out candy, compared to last year. Not that I mind, my children never eat all their candy anyway. I am curious though, if it was because people just could not spare all that extra money, to give candy to about 300 children. It can be very expensive.

We have had a crazy busy week, and next week will be too. With the holidays approaching, Caitlins last day of preschool at the Library, was yesterday. It will resume in January. As I previously stated, Friday the 7th we are going on a field trip to the Ocean, hopefully to find seashells. I was wondering what would we do with them, after we found them. Yesterday, while Caitlin was in her class, I found my answer. I was looking at a craft book, and they had the coolest Christmas tree topper, you could make out of sea shells. Hopefully we will find enough to do it.

My Top Entrecard Droppers For August and A Question

Before I get to my top droppers, I would like to ask a question. What learning type are you, and or your children? For example I am someone who prefers to learn by doing. Seeing it is great, but doing it works best for me. Auditory type learning really doesnt do much for me at all. My children, however learn a little different. My son, DJ, is a completely visual learner. He will suck up information, he sees, and apply it very quickly. My daughter Caitlin, is a combo, I think. She is only 4, so it might be hard to distinguish, yet. But she definately is a visual, doer, combo learner. So how about your children, or yourself?

Now here are my top 10 Entrecard droppers, for the month of August. So far according to the poll, 90 percent of my traffic is coming from Entrecard.
