Fun Friday The Letter W: Water
Welcome to Fun Friday, at our Blogging For Fun group. We are back to working on our A-Z meme, and are up to the letter W. W is for water. Below you will find interesting facts about water, and some lovely pics my brother in law took, while here on vacation. Did you know you can go a long time without food, and still survive, but after 24 hours of no water your body will start to slowly die. We need water to survive, as do plants, and wild life. It is precious. If you would like to join our Blogging for Fun group simply use the sign up widget on the left hand column of this blog.
Facts about water:
1 About 70% of the human body is made up of water.
2 When you are born, almost 80% of your body is water, that is why babies dehydrate so easily.
3 If you drink too much water, too fast, water intoxification can occur. Yes, even good things can be bad for you.
4 You should consume at least eight cups of water per day. But did you know not all of that has to be drinkable. Most foods, contain small amounts of water that help meet this requirement.
5 Water dissolves more substances than any other liquid does.
6 About 75% of the Earths surface is covered in water.
7 In the US we use about 346,000 gallons of water per day
8 Flushing the toilet is actually the biggest consumer of water every day
9 By the time you feel thirsty, you may already be dehydrated, losing 1 percent of your water. Stay hydrated.
10 The initial weight you lose, when dieting, or exercising is water weight, not fat.
I hope everyone has an awesome weekend. Stay safe, and drink your water.

hmmmmm... very interesting... especially the last part... just as I thought why even if I walk miles and miles I don't lose weight it's because I don't perspire a lot so the water in my body reminds there.
Hi,Melissa! Sorry i've been out of circulation again but now i'm back from outer space, lol! you compiled a lot of good information right there. how are you? =)
the best W, Melissa, water, something we can not live without!
Hey guys I hope you are all having a wonderful Easter Sunday. Thanks for dropping me some comments. We are all doing very well here in sunny Florida.
Water is essential. I have been drinking lots of water lately, but preferably at room temperature.
It is also one of the ways to loose all the weight which I need most.
Happy Easter Melissa!
